MarchClient has invited local and international firms to submit bids for the front-end engineering and design (FEED) contract related to the third phase of the Gallaf development, involving Al-Shaheen oilfield. Package one that is on offer will include 11 wellhead platforms, one riser platform, one central processing platform, living quarters, and a flare tower. The engineering bids are likely to be submitted within one or two months, with the contract expected to be finalized in early 2022. Those likely to compete for the FEED tender include McDermott,WoodGroup,Worleyand TechnipEnergies.
